Applications for the position of Deputy Sheriff are currently being accepted by the Wayne County Civil Service Commission.

All applicants must meet minimum hiring standards, ILEA minimum standards and successfully complete the P.O.S.T. and Physical Agility tests.

Applications must be returned to the Wayne County Sheriff's Office by 5:00PM August 26th, 2023.

Testing will be administered on September 7th, 2023 beginning at 9:00 AM at the Wayne County Sheriff's Office.
